Just in case you happen to lose your mobile or it gets flogged.

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:

* # 0 6 #A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset.

Write it down and keep it somewhere safe.

Should your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code.

They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either.

Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions

The Difference between Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions -
.
Case 1
When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity (ink won't flow down to the writing surface). To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12 million. They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, underwater, in practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C.
And what did the Russians do...??
They used a pencil.
.
Case 2
One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese management was the case of the empty soap box, which happened in one of Japan 's biggest cosmetics companies. The company received a complaint that a consumer had bought a soap box that was empty. Immediately the authorities isolated the problem to the assembly line, which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department. For some reason, one soap box went through the assembly line empty. Management asked its engineers to solve the problem. Post-haste, the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people to watch all the soap boxes that passed through the line to make sure they were not empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast but they spent a whoopee amount to do so.
.
But when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was posed with the same problem, he did not get into complications of X-rays, etc., but instead came out with another solution. He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it at the assembly line. He switched the fan on, and as each soap box passed the fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.
.
Moral: Always look for simple solutions. Devise the simplest possible solution that solves the problems.

Glory of Advertising World...

First impression is the last impression! The phrase is almost true for all cases as judgement for selection is made by outer appearance only. People generally make up their mind about another person or a product or anything from its outer look.
.
The glamorous world of advertisement is no exception to this. The impact of glory of advertising has gone to such a height that not only it has covered children but people of all ages. The main aim of advertising is to capture market requiring a lot of publicity. The world of advertising has no boundaries and will be immortal till people are surviving in this world.
.
Increasing demand of advertisements is a result of tremendous competition amongst product / people in the market. The market of advertising is very vast. For instance, household products like match box, ghee, furniture, newspaper, magazines, Car; Electronic appliances like Refrigerator, Washing machine, Television, Music system, etc.; Institutions like Computer Institutes, Coaching classes, private institutions etc.; Services like Banks, Consultancies, Industries, other loan providing institutions, etc; Other products include Chocolates, Biscuits, Ice-Cream, and Cinema, TV programmes, Stage Plays, Audio Video Cassettes, Music albums, Greeting Cards, etc. The list is endless.
.

Now a day, Internets are being used largely as a media for advertisement where the requirement is to target high class of people or where more money can be invested on advertising. It’s interesting to know that advertising itself is a profession and needs advertising. Lot of advertising agencies has now emerged to supply attractive advertisements on contract basis.
.
Advertising is an art. As it appears, it is not a simple and easy task. Advertising is becoming need of today’s market because it is necessary to catch attention of people towards a particular commodity. Knowledge of surrounding market, competition and creative thinking are the primary requisites of advertiser. It also needs skill of presentation, imagination power, patience, aesthetic sense, etc. The advertising should be flexible to change with changing environment, taste, custom and trends of consumers. Many advertisements are found to be hitting people at right spot that they start humming up the tunes played.

.
Besides above benefits, the fact that ‘some advertisements are nothing but a craze’ can not be overlooked. It shows only bright side in front of people and what glitters is not always gold. Outcome of the decisions taken blindly may be hazardous. It will be always preferable to watch advertisements either as a source of information or passing the time.

Friendship - A way towards live life...

abcdName, fame and money are not enough to satisfy the social needs of a human being. One more thing desperately needed is ‘a true friend’. Like any other relationship, friendship has its own significance and position in life of a person. A human being is social by nature and does not prefer to live alone. A person leading a lonely life may become pessimistic and diffident.
..
abcdFriendship is psychological need of a person. Friendship does not depend upon age, religion, caste, sex, community, looks, standard of living, etc. Broadly speaking, a friend can be any person with whom one deeply desires to share openly moments of life like his secrets, inner thoughts, feelings, happiness, grief, miseries and so on. Parents, grandmother, grandfather, sister, brother, life partner, any other relative, classmate, colleague or anybody can be friend. Not only this, even animals can be good friends of a person. In many cases, music or books can be close friends of a person where one has no confidence or belief on another person. Plants are also found to be friends of a person. Generally, friendship is between two or more than two persons but one may be friend of oneself.
.
abcdShakespeare had said it very truely that ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’. One may have a big friend circle but a very few friends are close friends in a life of person. A true friendship is purely based on full faith, mutual trust and confidence. It may differ in liking, disliking, opinions, level of education and intelligence but there must be same level of understanding from both the sides.
.
abcdA friendship may also be defined as a level of understanding of two persons’ matches. It should not be concluded that a true friendship is free from any clashes. The friendship that is unaffected under any circumstances is a true friendship. It is permanent and informal as true friend always tell openheartedly to each other the difference between right and wrong.
.
abcdA true friend is like mirror in which one can see his real image. Jealousy and false admiration has no place in true friendship. Rani Droupadi and Lord Krishna in epic ‘Mahabharat’ or Lord Rama and Hanuman in epic ‘Ramayana’ were known for their true friendship.
.
abcdMisunderstandings can never break true friendship. It is an emotional involvement of one person towards other and vice versa. It grows and becomes more hardcore with the increase of wrinkles on face. A friendship is co-operation, sacrifice, exchange of thoughts and information. Happier happenings or any other success becomes double whereas sorrow or problems becomes minute with its participation. One may feel relaxed after discussing his problems with a true friend.
.
abcdTrue friendship is like greenery in desert life. It adds liveliness and cheer in life. It develops better understanding and expands knowledge. A true friend is invaluable. When there is nobody, a true friend is always there like a shadow. A solution may not come after discussing of one’s problem with true friend but it gives moral support in life which is sufficient just to make up one’s mind to face the situation and to keep cool.
.
abcdefghijkl
Lonely life is not the life,
abcdefghijkl
But is the mind yet to ripe,
abcdefghijklGreenery comes with the friendship,
abcdefghijklA true, pure and wonderful relationship.
